If you own one these vehicles, you know the transmission calibration leaves a lot to be desired! Paul, our head tuning tech has done hours (and hours) of research and development and can confidently totally fix the issues 200 series owners have been complaining about.

What To Expect:

We have the ability to change gear shift points as well as TCC (torque converter lock) up speeds. This means, we can get you into 6th gear without the muck around – no more speeding up, then slowly backing off to stay in 6th gear! No more pressing a button to force the converter to lock and stay locked. We also change the downshift speed so the transmission will no long jump from 6th to 5th or 6th to 4th at the slightest hill or headwind once you are in 6th gear.

Importantly, we reprogram the transmission microprocessor the same way that Toyota did in the first place, via the OBD port – not on a bench! But the only difference is here at GPD, we do it to suit real life Australian conditions (100kmh cruise speeds).

There is a great deal more we tweak making this remap a must for towing or simply day to day driving, the results and testimonials speak for themselves.
